Favourite quote (from a person, from a book, etc) and why you love it.
I don’t have a favorite quote, I never have done. However I can give you my current favorite Bible verse, it’s the closest you’ll get to a quote from me.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. – Galatians 6:9 (TNIV)
At the moment I’m loving this verse because it has made me see that all the hard work i’m putting in, even though it feels as though i’m going no where will be completed and the reward will be worth the hard work.
I’m in the process of setting up a lot of Children’s and Young People’s things at Church, and currently because nothing has yet been completed, it is getting quite frustrating. I have almost come to a close with the setting up of the Children’s Church, but I will still have ‘maintenance’ work to do for it. I feel as though I’m doing everything on my own, and I’m not yet seeing any results from it, but other people are seeing the results and benefiting from the work I’m doing.
So like I said not a quote in the sense as I expect it was meant, but right now that’s what is calling to me.
