3 New Lipstick Trends To Try

By Jennifer @jennynov23
3 lipstick's that have a lil somethin, somethin to offer...

I don't know if you are aware but there are some kick ass things happening in the beauty world these days. Nail art and lipstick being my top two beauty obsessions, I am not afraid to try out the latest, craziest trend in both departments. While I don't wear make up on a daily basis the one thing I never leave the house without is my lipstick!

Kindaaaa a lipstick junkie, as discussed here, here, here anddddd here I will try a new lipstick trend at least once.

Today I want to share with you 3 new products/trends that I think are going to take the beauty world by storm (OK they may already be taking it by storm, but I predict they will have some lasting power). All products available at Sephora

1. High Pigment Lipstick: super saturated lipstick in the boldest pigment possible is what's happening here. BITE Beauty is putting traditional lip shades to shame with their lipsticks, liners, glosses and plumpers. They clued in to the fact that lips absorb what you put on them. (duh). For this reason, Bite avoids petroleum by-products and synthetic chemicals, strictly using nourishing, restorative and antioxidant ingredients. They use food-grade ingredients, so you could LITERALLY eat the lipstick, although don't, please, just use it as Bite intended and wear it boldly on your lip. BITE Beauty: Cashmere Lip Cream 2. Magnetic Caps:  not so much a trend as is is a technological advancement? A friggin lifesaver? Raise your hand if your lipstick has ever opened up in your handbag or make up case. It's happened to me, and luckily  Marc Jacobs being the genius that he is came up with stellar packaging for his new beauty collection. The small magnet is not enough to mess up your cell phone or any electronics in your purse, but its perfect enough to hold that pesky lid in place. Marc Jacobs Beauty: Lovemarc Lip Gel

3. Liquid Lipstick: Don't confuse this with a gloss, the silky smooth, rich lipstick does come with a sponge applicator, but it just so happens to be a lipstick. And its MATTE! Free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, phthalates, GMOs and triclosan yet it still provides 14 hours of continuous wear, sign me up!. Hourglass: Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick
