28 Before 28

By Sarahhhp @SarahhhP

I've been wanting to put pen to paper and write one of these for absolutely ages but thought I'd wait until I could document it on here, that way I'd feel a little more inclined to follow through with some of the things on the list. If you don't already know, the idea is that you pick a birthday and list the corresponding number of things that you would like to achieve by the time you reach that age. Also, I just want to point out that I'm actually 26 at the time of writing this, but figured that that the four and a bit months I have left of being this age probably won't give me enough time to complete everything - hence why I gave myself the extra year to do so!
So, without further a do, here are my 28 things;
1. Climb a mountain
2. Visit New York City on my birthday3. Read the entire works of Jane Austen4. Learn how to make a really good curry from scratch5. Set up a supper club for my closest friends6. Attend my first beauty blogger event7. Organise a fund raising event in aid of mental health8. Be able to run 5k9. Catch the Eurostar to Paris, sit under the Eiffel tower and eat a crepe.10. Get published11. Lose a stone12. Go to a Wales Rugby match13. Learn a foreign language14. Create the 'perfect' home office space15. Move out and get my own place16. Learn how to ride a bicycle better (that Pashley Britannia will be mine!)17. Get a blue british short hair pussycat 18. Visit Chatsworth (wander around pretending to be Elizabeth Bennett = optional)19. Start saving (coppers in the piggybank doesn't count)20. Pass my Legal Practice Course exams21. Go on a road trip around a country that I have never visited before22. Spend a night in a yurt23. Make my own elderflower wine24. Have a relaxing beach holiday25. Camp out, watch the sunset, stare at the stars.26. Whittle down my wardrobe giving what I don't want/need away to charity27. Have a home library28. Start to enjoy driving more/get the Mini I've been lusting after for so long in order to spur me on
And there we have it. Who knows, if I manage to check off a fair few of these, perhaps this could become an annual tradition. Goodness knows I'm rather partial to a nice list at the best of times...
Is there anything here that you'd consider adding to your list? I'd be really interested to know what some of you would put on there.
