21 Favorite Fonts | Part 2

By Designbylulu

Happy belated birthday, America! We spent our 4th relaxing, enjoying good food, spending time with family, and shooting guns.
True fact.
Notice how there’s no mention of fireworks in there? That’s because I’m super-lame and have been soooo tired lately. I was in bed at 8:55 last night.
And I’m not ashamed. Not even a little bit.
It was still light out. Didn’t see a single firework, or hear one for that matter.
I think America will understand that I chose to honor it throughout the day and turn it as a reasonable hour.

Anywho, part 2, of my favorite fonts is here folks…

I don’t know what it is about this font, I just like it. It’s fun and different, looks classy.

So serious with its straight lines and bold shadow.

A super-fun, girly font from the talented Emily at | JDC | The font also includes some fun squiggles and doodles, and she even has a fancy font that looks more like calligraphy.

I love that even the lowercase letters are as tall as the normal ones. It makes lining things up way easy and aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
*Just as I’m getting ready to post this I see that it says ‘Lade’, the font is actually called ‘Lady’. LADY RENE. My bad.

Looks like it belongs on an indie album cover. Or in a baby’s nursery.

A little bit aged, great when you’re trying to go for a worn-in look, but are too lazy to add textures yourself.

I think this might be the most fun font I own. I mean, let’s be honest, what kid wouldn’t want their birthday party invitations dripping in this font? Or do kids even care about fonts? The only downside of this font; it doesn’t include numbers. Boo.

The final 8 fonts are headed your way next week, stay tuned!

And believe it or not, yes! I do have a freebie for Freebie Friday tomorrow!
