“Today is a very special moment in our history. It’s been 20 years since the launch of the original PlayStation, which released in Japan on December 3rd, 1994. It seems like only yesterday! I’m so glad that we can celebrate this moment together,” Shuhei Yoshida – President, SCE Worldwide Studios said in a statement.

The 20th Anniversary Edition PS4 will be will be available in “very limited supply”, so if you want to grab one of these, you will have to stay tuned to pre-order when it goes live on Saturday, December 6th. And no it will not be available via retail stores. Check out the video for a closer look.
