Happy Wednesday off-road SUV fans, here's a new one 2021 Ford Bronco Concept. The Blue Oval unveiled the Bronco Overland concept as a surprise to visitors to the Bronco Super Celebration East in Tennessee today. While it doesn't break new ground, it does show the number of possibilities accessories could offer future Bronco owners. And it looks bad.
At its core it is a four-door model Bronco with the 2.3-liter turbo four-engine and the eagerly awaited seven-speed manual transmission with a dedicated crawling equipment. Icing the Boxy SUV is a range of factory supported accessories, such as the steel front bumper with a winch system. The roof has some pretty standard roof racks, but the Overland concept features a two-person Yakima tent for the real outdoor type. It's really cool and to provide lots of light there is a rack mounted light bar with six additional pod lights. The lighting does not play a role in the Bronco Overland concept.
In addition to more load capacity, the rear also contains a cooking station with a stove (?!) Mounted on the freight management system and a pull-out refrigerator. Once you've taken a meal offline, chairs and a hatchback table can have fun in the middle of nowhere. This is an extremely appealing concept if you're looking to dodge in the midst of the 2020 train wreck.
Despite being a concept vehicle, we could see the list of features find their way into a future Bronco accessories catalog. Ford knows that the fans are hyped and wants to show them clearly what is possible with its new SUV.
