Audi is lowering the price of its electric SUV E-Tron for the 2021 model year, the company said on Tuesday. At $ 66,995, including $ 1,025 for the destination, the 2021 E-Tron is around $ 8,800 cheaper than before ($ 8,900 technically, but the target fee went up by $ 100).
Audi was able to lower the price of the E-Tron by developing a new entry-level model called Premium, which is below the current Premium Plus and Prestige panels. The premium fairing is equipped with 20-inch wheels, heated seats and steering wheel, an electric tailgate, a lane departure warning and much more. A $ 3,500 convenience plus package offers additional benefits, such as a full line of driver assistance extras and black-look exterior treatments.

In addition to the lower price, the E-Tron now offers more electrical range. Thanks to "optimized hardware and software adjustments to the drive system", says Audi, the 2021 E-Tron now has an EPA-estimated range of 222 miles compared to 204. Nevertheless, the E-Tron is still behind other luxury electric crossovers like that Jaguar I-Pace (234 miles) and both the Tesla Model X (258 miles) and Model Y (315 miles).
Together with the standard E-Tron SUV, the Audi E-Tron Sportback will go on sale this year. It is largely identical to the standard E-Tron, only with a slightly more powerful shape and a slightly shorter range (218 miles). The Sportback, including the target, costs $ 70,125 - an increase of $ 3,130 over the standard 2021 E-Tron.
Look for both versions of the Audi E-Tron that are slated to go on sale later this year.
