2017 Movie Watched List

Movie Watched list are always interesting to read to see what order people watch films in, over the past two years I have started doing watched lists with two different styles to talk about the over 1000 movies I had seen. This year I decided to mix it up once more. This time I will be listing the films in 10 like before and then picking just my favourites on a couple of subject’s I am picking favourites over best because sometimes the best films are difficult re-watches which is why I like the term favorite.

Here is

1.   Resident Evil: Extinction

2.    From Dusk till Dawn

3.    Lion

4.    Vertigo

5.    Rear Window

6.    Kite

7.    Go With Me

8.    Eloise

9.    The Wailing

10. The ReZort

Favourite Film
The Wailing

2016 was a fantastic year for horror and this one could easily break into any top 3 list because once you start seeing the unknown it just doesn’t stop twisting in ways you simply couldn’t guess it could go.

Worst Film
Kite

It was boring, confusing and felt just like a rip off of many over films.

Favourite Character
Jong-Gu – The Wailing

Jong-Gu is the police officers that must look into the mysterious deaths in his village and as everything unfolds he must decide whether he wants to investigate the story through logical ideas or supernatural once his own daughter becomes infected with what has been affecting the village. This character isn’t the strongest but he feels like a real man having to struggle with everything that has been happening.

Worst Character
Lieutenant Karl Aker – Kite

This film sucked on so many levels but having Samuel L Jackson giving one of his worst performances of his career that was nearly impossible to watch.

Star Performance
James Stewart – Vertigo and Rear Window

This is easily the star performance as it shows two of his best performance of his career that can’t be overlooked by anyone who enjoys classic films.

Any other question you would like to know about the selection feel free to leave a comment and I will answer or maybe even add to future Watched Lists.
