2016 Watched List – Part 1

2016 Watched List

I did a watched list last year and now I have decided to make a slight twist on it all, I will continue to do a list of the order I watched them all but I will also rank the 10 films from worst to best. So here is the list, what do you think and how do you rate this films from 1 -10 of the year.

1. Bridge of Spies

3. Creed

4. Wishing for a Dream

7. Bug

8. The Peanuts Movie

9. Joy

10. Odd Thomas

This is how I rate these films from worst to best.

10) Bug This is the easiest pick on this whole list because this horror film is a pure disaster.
9) The Peanuts Movie Being number 9 makes you think it was a bad movie, but this is a good movie but only if you understand the source material.
8) Joy Great performance from Lawrence but about a lady that designs a mop but this is really not the most interesting.
7) The Big Short Great performances again but a film about banking and mortgages that really doesn’t interest me enough.
6) Wishing For A Dream Low budget look at the harsh reality of Hollywood seen through the eyes of both an actress and a filmmaker.
5) Bone Tomahawk A brilliant western horror that could easily be number one on another list.
4) Odd Thomas One of the most underrated films of recent years that ticks all the boxes I love in a film.
3) Sicario An intense thriller that has two powerful performances from Blunt and De Toro.
2) Bridge of Spies Espionage thriller that shows Spielberg still knows how to give us a classic.
1) Creed Here is a surprise a Rocky movie in number one and this was one that surprised me with the quality it delivers.

I am also going to try to figure out which star I have seen in the most films this year, remember I do have weekends for stars and franchises which should give certain people an advantage but here is the most watched star of 2016. I only have one actor appear in more than one film and here he is.
