Yes, we know that Toronto is still waiting for Spring to really start (enough with the cold and the snow already), and we know that the CNE signals the end of Summer every year… and we’re not trying to get ahead of ourselves or anything, but we just couldn’t resist sharing this news.
As always, the CNE will feature a healthy mix of established acts, vintage returns, and young talent – all in town to entertain the crowd and enjoy the fair atmosphere in the city. Acts like Randy Bachman and Alan Frew will excite rock and roll fans of the past, and we guarantee that Juno nominated Scott Helman is going to draw a young crowd that will include some screaming teenage fans.
We’re also excited to see back-to-back-to-back country days on the schedule with George Canyon, Dean Brody, High Valley, and Jess Moskaluke already announced for a Friday through Sunday, weekend run. The question now needs to focus on the openers for Canyon on Friday and Brody on Saturday… we dont’ have any info at all, but we wouldn’t be surprised to have a River Town Saints sighting on one of those nights.
After looking at the calendar there seem to be more dates to be added, but for now we can tell you about these 10… mark them on your calendar!
