2016 is nearly over and I'm sure that most of us will be breathing a sigh of relief as this has to be the year that we will all be glad to see the back of!
For me personally it hasn't been a great year from experiencing an early miscarriage in April to Mr S having a collapsed lung in December this is a year I would rather forget.
I don't want to finish the year all doom and gloom so to try and inject some light into what has been a very dark year I thought I would take a look back at my favorite outfits from this year.
My love of oversized clothes continued this year with a bargain sales top from Yours Clothing!
I tried a balloon dress from Navabi and in fact this was my first ever Navabi purchase again in the sale!
I fell back in love with wearing jeans after living in dresses and yet another oversized top this time from New Look also in the sale!
My very faithful Simply Be denim dress came back out again this year and continues to be a staple of my wardrobe!
I love this 60's style dress from Simply Be which breaks the fashion rules for me with a high neck!
I finally got my hands on the Lady Voluptuous tutti frutti Phoebe Dress after patiently waiting for it to be reduced and it was worth the wait!
My bargain Lovedrobe dress which I had bought in 2015 in the sale came back out again for the warm Summer days!
I still love this t-shirt dress from New Look in fact I love it so much that I own two of them!

This is a dress which I found at the clothes swap at Curve Fashion Festival in 2015 and I wore it during the summer.
Honorable mention has to go to my first ever Lady V purchase which is the Estella cupcake dress!
My beautiful Chi Chi London dress which sadly only made an appearance for the 31 Dresses of May and didn't get worn for Christmas this year as it was too dressy for the occasion.
The bargainous cold shoulder dress from New Look which I became aware of thanks to Leah from LoveLeah! In fact so many people bought this dress on her recommendation she should have been on commission!
A beaut of a dress from Yours Clothing which I bought after my birthday with some vouchers, it was great during the summer.
I am still loving these jeans from Evans and they are hands down the best skinny jeans I own and the top was a chance find in Yours Clothing and I wore it to death over the summer.
One of my favorite Lindy Bop dresses the Bletchley which is so easy to wear and it has pockets!!
Another sale purchase this top from Boohoo was reduced to £10 so I snapped it up and I'm so glad I did. The reaction to it was amazing not only on the blog but also on Instagram which I was amazed by!
My last outfit post of the year was a bargain find on Ebay, this Ann Harvey coat was £25.00 and didn't seem to have been worn as the pockets were still stitched closed!
I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for all your support and kind words through what has been a difficult year. I know I haven't blogged as regularly due to personal circumstances and I even took a break as I needed to clear my head. I hope to be back posting more in 2017 and to also make more of my YouTube channel as my blog enters it's fourth year next year!
I wish you all very Happy New Year and I hope that 2017 is kinder to all of us.
