2015 Watched List Part 9

By Newguy

Over the past year I have seen an incredible amount of films and I have decided to share with you all which ones I have seen in what order. I am going to be doing these in groups of ten, where I will pick my favorite of the bunch and the worst of the bunch. I am also offering just for fun a chance for you all to guess which actor/actress I have seen the most films off.

So without further ramblings here we go with 91 – 100:

1. Clown  A loving father finds a clown suit for his son’s birthday party, only to realize that it is not a suit at all. A horror gem that redefines the transformation idea with a Clown.

2. Nightcrawler When Louis Bloom, a driven man desperate for work, muscles into the world of L.A. crime journalism, he blurs the line between observer and participant to become the star of his own story. Aiding him in his effort is Nina, a TV-news veteran. Brilliant, Brilliant film from frame one to credits and second viewing this year.

3. Berberian Sound Studio  A sound engineer’s work for an Italian horror studio becomes a terrifying case of life imitating art. Brilliant and original idea that will test your sanity.

4. Trance  An art auctioneer who has become mixed up with a group of criminals partners with a hypnotherapist in order to recover a lost painting. A real thriller that keeps you guessing.

5. Misery  Few days after being rescued and sheltered from a car crash caused by a blizzard by a nurse who claims to be his number one fan, a well-known author begins suspecting the mental health of his saviour. One of King’ best.

6. Hercules  The son of the Greek Gods Zeus and Hera is stripped of his immortality as an infant and must become a true hero in order to reclaim it. A disappointing animated film.

7. Atlantis: The Lost Empire  A young adventurer named Milo Thatch joins an intrepid group of explorers to find the mysterious lost continent of Atlantis. An even worse animated film.

8. Turbo  A freak accident might just help an everyday garden snail achieve his biggest dream: winning the Indy 500. a guilty pleasure film that is awesome.

9. Imitation Game During World War II, mathematician Alan Turing tries to crack the enigma code with help from fellow mathematicians. Brilliant look at an important part of the British History.

10. Mimic  Three years ago, entomologist Dr. Susan Tyler genetically created an insect to kill cockroaches carrying a virulent disease. Now, the insects are out to destroy their only predator, mankind. Great little creature feature.

The Best – Nightcrawler

The Worst – Atlantis

Star leading the way – Peter Stormare with 4 films so far.
