2015 Watched List Part 4

By Newguy

Over the past year I have seen an incredible amount of films and I have decided to share with you all which ones I have seen in what order. I am going to be doing these in groups of ten, where I will pick my favorite of the bunch and the worst of the bunch. I am also offering just for fun a chance for you all to guess which actor/actress I have seen the most films off.

So without further ramblings here we go 31- 40:

1. Rush Hour Two cops team up to get back a kidnapped daughter. The beginning of one of the best buddy cops pairings.

2. Rush Hour 2 Carter and Lee head to Hong Kong for vacation, but become embroiled in a counterfeit money scam. Part two of the trilogy this time in Hong Kong.

3. Rush Hour 3 After an attempted assassination on Ambassador Han, Lee and Carter head to Paris to protect a French woman with knowledge of the Triads’ secret leaders. The final part of the trilogy that still is filled with laughs.

4. Big Hero 6 The special bond that develops between plus-sized inflatable robot Baymax, and prodigy Hiro Hamada, who team up with a group of friends to form a band of high-tech heroes. A delightful animated film.

5. Ejecta The story of one night on earth that changed everything we know about the universe. A sci-fi film that could be forgotten.

6. The Pact  As a woman struggles to come to grips with her past in the wake of her mother’s death and the disappearance of her sister, an unsettling presence emerges in her childhood home. This horror has a very good twist that you won’t see coming.

7. Ghosts of Mars Years in the future, a Martian police unit is sent to pick up a highly dangerous criminal at a remote mining post. Upon arrival, the cops find that the post has become a charnel house. Considered one of Carpenter’s worst but really is just a lot of fun.

8. 300 Rise of an Empire Greek general Themistokles leads the charge against invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes and Artemisia, vengeful commander of the Persian navy. This is one I didn’t enjoy and feel it was way too late coming.

9. Ginger Snaps  Two death-obsessed sisters, outcasts in their suburban neighborhood, must deal with the tragic consequences when one of them is bitten by a deadly werewolf. One of the best werewolf films from modern cinema.

10. Dead Again. An amnesiac and a private eye find they might have a past life connection. A clever idea for a film that has fantasy elements to a thrilling storyline.

The Best – Big Hero 6

The Worst – 300 Rise of an Empire

Star leading the way – Jackie Chan & Chris Tucker thanks to Rush Hour.
