The London-based Linoleum formed in 1991 when Caroline Finch met Paul Jones. They formed a band who released two albums, 1997's 'The Dissent' and 2000's 'The Race From The Burning Building'. Jones left the band in 2000 to join Elastica, before launching his own label Slogan Records, which released The Fall's 2005 album 'Fall Heads Roll'. He is now the head of A and R at Rough Trade Records. Linoleum played their last show back in 2001.
This split single's front cover featured an image of the then-disgraced former Blue Peter presenter Richard Bacon, who had recently been sacked from the children's show after a cocaine scandal.
