How far along: 20 weeks...we're HALFWAY!
Size of baby: Mango
Baby's size and weight: 6.5 in, 10 oz
My total weight gain: 18 pounds. Gag. I seriously can't stand seeing the weight gain from week to week but I guess I just have to keep reminding myself it WILL come off eventually...Baby's development: -Her uterus is fully formed-Vaginal canal is starting to develop-Eggs in her ovaries and when she's born, she will have all the eggs she'll ever have
Stretch marks: None.
Maternity clothes: Yes. Boo.
Gender: Girl. Confirmed for a third time :)
Movement: Yes! Z was able to feel it and since he missed my entire pregnancy last time, this was a big moment for him.
Sleep: Insomnia; I've been taking Unisom almost every night to stay asleep. Getting to sleep is fine but it's the staying asleep that's the problem.
What I miss: My body, fitting into my clothes, and not snapping at the drop of a dime.
Food cravings: Ehh nothing this week.
Symptoms: Tired, sore, and extremely hormonal.
Nolan is: signing up for My Gym classes soon! We're looking forward to getting out of the house a few times a week and playing with other kids! We also tried The Honest Company free sample pack and to be honest, I wasn't too impressed. I really liked the diapers but didn't care for the wipes. If you do the free trial, be sure to CANCEL or they will charge you for a subscription (which I just found out). But still, give it a try if you think it's something you're interested in.
Loving these anchor diapers
Zach is: leaving in a few days :( As with any separation, we seem to be bickering more than usual. Being angry makes it easier than being sad, apparently.
What I'm looking forward to: Getting this 15 week training over with and our rendezvous in October for a weekend.
Best moments: We had our maternity pictures taken early since Z is leaving for the rest of my pregnancy; we had SO much fun and be sure to check my Facebook page for the sneak peeks!
Maternity picture ready!
Funny things: Bubs has an imaginary friend, Hami is how I believe it would be spelled. Apparently he's a two year old doctor who lives in Georgia. This kid, I tell ya.
Not so funny things: I saw the doctor this past week and he's referring me to the High Risk group at The Cleveland Clinic. He's unsure if I will need to follow through with them or just have them evaluate me once but either way, I'm not happy about it. As some of you may know, I had a lot of problems with my previous pregnancy and because of it, he's advised I see them. Fingers crossed they clear me and I don't have to receive Progesterone shots or any other treatments...
In case you haven't met my girl Marquis yet, you probably should keep reading! She's become such a great friend of mine and this blog design? ALL her :) Take it away lady!
