I think summer accessories are hard to get right, but I've found two that fit the bill perfectly recently. Firstly, sunglasses. For anyone with a longer face, you'll understand the struggle of getting a pair that flatter. I've stuck with my Ray-Ban Erica's and Wayfarers for the past couple of years, but decided to branch out to something different and try these Superdry sunglasses this time. I love them, the shape is the slight cat-eye that I normally go for, the tortoiseshell is really nice and not too harsh, and the lenses are dark and protective enough to suit all my needs. Plus, at only £37 they aren't going to break the bank either - win. To find more sunglasses with a round shape you can look here.
Then onto my hat. This was a gift from my sister and mom for my birthday, and picked up in the Urban Outfitters sale, so I'm not sure how easy it would be to get hold of now. It's perfect year round, and maybe a little too heavy for the summer but will do nicely in the quasi-weather that we have in England. The deep burgundy color is gorgeous and goes with absolutely everything, and the brim has just the right amount of floppiness.
So fellow accessories strugglers - what are your favorite picks for the summer?
