Today’s comedian spotlight is on New York comedian Chris Monty. Monty will be headlining the Saturday showcase at Diana Wortham Theatre with 10 fellow comedians. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. and you can get tickets here!

Chris Monty is one of New York’s busier comedians. Along with being a regular at New York’s best comedy clubs, Chris is a terrific actor and can be seen in the comedy film “Mall Cop: Blart 2″ coming in April 2015.
You may also recognize him from his many appearances in t.v. commercials. He is currently performing Off-Broadway in an original award nominated play that he co-wrote “Shut Up, Sit Down & Eat!” The show will re-open this fall 2014 on Broadway at The Snapple Theatre in New York City.
He has written for “The Joan Rivers Radio Show” and hosted his own show on Long Island’s WGBB radio. Along with numerous stints as an opening act for Joan Rivers and B.B.
