'12 Rounds 2: Reloaded' Review - Randy Orton Proves He's Got Talent

Randy Orton is one of my top most favorite WWE superstars in the WWE Universe. So, imagine how I've reacted when I heard that there's going to be a feature film starring Orton. Yeah, I was excited. It's Orton's first major role. While it received mixed reactions from the fans, I think it was rather a great movie. Here's why.
Warning: May contain minor spoilers
As you may already know, 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded is the sequel to John Cena's 2009 hit film. Film follows the story of an emergency medical technician named Nick Malloy (Randy Orton) who gets caught in a game of 12 rounds where he has to play a deadly game to protect his wife. The smiley-face loving, nut-job villain, Heller (Brian Markinson) is just making the game to seek revenge on his wife's accidental death by killing everyone involved in the apparent accident.
I have to mention that the misleading title "Reloaded" has nothing do with this movie. In fact, story doesn't have any connection to the first film. It's basically is the story from the first film, with few modifications. And in case you're wondering if the name has some connection with a gun reloading, Orton barely touches any gun in the film. Most fans were disappointed by the story and especially because of there weren't any decent hand-to-hand combat in the film.

As a Randy Orton fan, I did expect to see some of his awesome moves in the film. But, sadly there was only one fight and it sucked. It was this one moment, where Orton gets beaten up by a fat security guard and Orton just throw some punches to knock him out. I guess the film crew must have focused on showing off his drama and acting side, instead of filling the film with action-packed fights. And I think it was a good idea. This guy seems to have some good talents. Since I've already seen Orton fight in the ring, it wasn't such a big disappointment to me after all.
Other than seeing Randy Orton's cool actions, you can't really expect more from this film. Sure, it has an exciting way to keep you glued to your seat till the end of the film. But, the story was very cheap, as well as the cheesy dialogue's and one liners. Overall, 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded is worth a watch, especially if you're a WWE fan. This film was released directly to Bluray and DVD and is now available.
