10 Outfits I Wore in February

By Leslielazard @leslielazard

I wore this outfit to the most fun girls brunch at Jack Rose earlier last month. If you're ever in New Orleans, the food there is amazing, and you have to try a Chambong - which is basically a huge shot of champagne in a tricky flute. My dress is one of my favorite purchases from Zara ever, but is sadly sold out. This dress is similar (and super cute!), and so is this one, plus they're both under $25.

I wore these breezy overalls to take Sebastian to his first Mardi Gras parade ever. It was so much fun, and I've had the best carnival season this year getting to experience it with him for his first time. He loved the floats and the bands and music. I can't wait to do it all over again next year.

Ever since this year started I had been in the biggest rut style wise. One of my friends (who always looks so cute for work) mentioned that she plans out her outfits the night before. The most ground breaking idea? No. But did it help me put together a few work outfits that I normally wouldn't have? Yes.

Another outfit for a day of work. One of the things I love most about my office is our non existent dress code. I almost considered sending this rainbow striped dress back, but am glad I ultimately decided to end up keeping it.

Rashaad and I took Sebastian to a pet festival at a local park on this day. He loved seeing all of the dogs and animals out, but didn't love the carousel so much. He loves horses, but the up and down motion of the horse on the spinning carousel was a little scary for him. We'll try again when he gets a bit older.

Girls night out! My friend and I decided to go out on a whim this night since the weather was so nice. We had a blast, and I got to indulge in a baked potato and cheddar burger from Snug Harbor. Yum.

Lot's of fun was had this past month with Mardi Gras, and not one but two girls nights out. This night we went out to dinner at Ruth Chris, where I had the most delicious Blackberry Sidecar, and followed dinner up with drinks at a local bar downtown.

This top from SHEIN is the cutest, and only $17. I loved it so much the first time I wore it, that I'm thinking of grabbing it in another color.

Super casual day at the office. I'm sure it was probably a Friday, and I had dragged myself out of bed at the ninth hour. This is what you get on mornings like those - an easy sweatshirt and sneakers outfit. This Stranger Things Sweatshirt is one of my favorites though.

I live in casual outfits like this one. I love that it's a matching set, so it requires literally no effort whatsoever but you still wind up looking pulled together. Win-win.
