Turkish University Announced Scholarships For Pakistani Students

Those students who want to pursue higher education abroad, especially in Turkey, now have a chance to make their dreams come true. Officials at TED University in Ankara have announced that Pakistani students who want to enroll in 23 undergraduate and 17 graduate programs for the fall of 2024 will be given large scholarships.

The international program officials of TED University disclosed during the Devcom-Pakistan webinar on Sunday that new students would be eligible for scholarships ranging from 25% to 100%, depending on their academic standing and other credentials. Pakistani students will not be required to take the GRE or English language competency exam.

Five faculties offer undergraduate studies. These include architecture, psychology, mathematics, engineering, and computer science. There are a lot of different subjects covered in graduate classes, like economics, engineering management, and data science.

At the moment, TED University has about 5,000 students, with a good faculty-to-student ratio of 24:1. This means that each student gets individual care. Along with faculty members, students are urged to work on projects, studies, and research together.

Haares Munir, who is in charge of the International Student Community, talked about feeling like they belonged and praised how helpful the university is. He talked about the health, sports, and leisure facilities that were available, as well as the chances to learn how to be a better leader.

Students are encouraged to do educational and fun things outside, which makes their time at the university better. It is recommended that you speak Turkish fluently or at least have basic skills to communicate with locals and deal with everyday problems.

Munir Ahmed, Executive Director of Devcom-Pakistan, talked about the long-standing links between Turkey and Pakistan and stressed how important it is to work together more in many areas.

The goal of the exchange program for students from both countries is to improve knowledge between the two countries and make relations between them stronger. Levent Ocal, Head of the International Programs Office at TED University, thanked Pakistani moms for sending their children to school in Turkey and emphasized that Pakistani students felt welcome and like brothers there.
