Positioned in the heart of Istanbul in the historic neighbourhood of Ortaköy, The House Hotel Bosphorus boasts panoramic views overlooking the water as well as culturally rich sites.  The 5 storey 19th century Ottoman Mansion known as the “Simon Kalfa” has been transformed by internationally acclaimed Turkish design studio Autoban. The building visually reflects a dialog between two centuries of architecture and design where the classical structure remains intact, whilst the interior incorporates the modernism and luxury of contemporary society.

Bridging tradition and modernity, the globally celebrated, award-winning Turkish design studio Autoban has integrated contemporary materials. Such as marble, brass and walnut tree wood into the interiors. Mindful of the authentic nature of the building, some of the original features of the structure were preserved including the doors and window frames.
