Texas Just Published a Map of Gunowners’ Location!

By Eowyn @DrEowyn

The Sandy Hook massacre hoax of December 14, 2012, unleashed a paroxysm of gun control legislation across the United States. (See here, here, and here.)

One response that received relatively scant notice was what a suburban New York City newspaper, The Journal News, did.

As reported by NewsMax, on December 24, 2012 — Christmas Eve! — the paper published an article, “The gun owner next door: What you don’t know about the weapons in your neighborhood,” with an interactive map showing the addresses of thousands of handgun permit holders across Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam Counties, the northern suburbs of New York City where the paper is read.

Not only was the information a violation of gunowners’ privacy, it also provided a map for criminals to use to find homes to rob that have no guns.

Hard to believe, but Texas has followed the example of The Journal News and released a map of the location of all its gun owners.

Their locations are marked by red dots on the map below. :D
