Do you want to know more about Windows 8, the new operating system that is due out from Microsoft? Do you want to try Windows 8 in a virtual machine, free, right now. All you need to do is download the ISO file and set up VirtualBox properly.So what is the new Windows 8 going to look like. The most obvious thing is that it will be very different than any of the previous versions of Windows. It will have the desktop that we are used to, but functionally it will be different with an "App" style format for programs. It has been designed with touch screens in mind, this means it will have a start menu with a tile-driven display of all the programs.
I don't know how many people will like the new style of Windows 8, but one thing is certain, there is going to be a lot of people the will be criticising the new format. The only thing that you can do is try it out and come to your own conclusions.
One word of warning, if you don't use VirtualBox, and instead install it onto your machine it may not work well or may or keep crashing (it is only a Beta Version) you will then need a full re-install of your present system of Windows.
To try Windows 8 in the VirtualBox you are going to need a powerful computer for it to work well. You will also need to choose between the 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows 8. If your not sure which to choose, select the 32 bit version, this works on most machines.
