I know Yall are laughing at me, arn't you? I know what you are thinking, Pigs in the blanket? Really Veronica, you did a post on pigs in the blanket? Well these are not exactly pigs in the blanket. These puppies dont have hot dogs in the middle They have little smokies in them. They are delectable and addictive. Every time I serve these they are the first to get gobbled up. Along with the meatballs with grape jelly. Keep laughing my friend, because once you try one of these, you will be laughing no more.
Mini Pigs in a Blanket
13 oz package little smokies sausage
1 package crescent rolls I used pillsbury
3 tablespoons poppy seeds
3 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Unroll crescent rolls and pinch seams together.
Cut into 5 strips lengthwise. Then cut 10 strips across.
Wrap strips around sausage.
Place on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Brush with milk wash and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Bake for 12-15 minutes. Enjoy.
