Elegant Touch Nails - Glitter and Lace

By Iheartmexo @iheartmexoxo
Glitter and Lace. Two of my favorite things. And glitter and lace on your nails? Even better.
Elegant Touch have just done that by launching a new line of press on nails in various new designs. It includes bright textures, animal print, metallic and pastels. Sounds so great! I was very kindly sent two new designs to try out. One in lace and the other in glitter. Both packs came with 24 nails each which, with 10 different sizes, a nail buffer and adhesive tabs as well as instructions. Both packs are small nails which is perfect for me as I don't really long nails on me.

It's just very classy to me. These came with their new UV gel technology which makes them alot more durable and I agree with that. It also makes it chip free and the nail won't be scratched either. This particular pack comes with the gel based tabs which are alot thicker than your normal adhesive tabs. I actually really liked these ones compared to your normal sticker type tabs. It took me 15 minutes to apply them and they stayed on for a whole week. They probably would have survived even longer but I decided to take them off after a week. It was very easy to take them off as well. I just soaked my hands in hot water for a while and just started to take them off. Surprising, they even survived dish washing and showers. Love these ones. And everyone asked too where they were from! ;)  Elegant Touch Nails - Glitter and LaceElegant Touch Nails - Glitter and LaceElegant Touch Nails - Glitter and LaceElegant Touch Nails - Glitter and LaceElegant Touch Nails - Glitter and LaceElegant Touch Nails - Glitter and LaceThe next that I tried out were the blue and pink glitter nails* (£7.10) which obviously I loved. Surprise, surprise! They looked so pretty once on. This particular set didn't have the gel tabs . It had the normal thin sticker type tabs that you usually get which were also very simple to apply. Took me about 15 minutes just like before. After having them on for a day, I realised that they aren't as strong and sturdy as the gel tabs one as the nails started to get lose after 2 days which I was disappointed in. But I think that these are great value and quality as the glitter didn't chip off and the nails didn't break either. You can always use nail glue I think but I personally have never tried that. I do think that if you're going out somewhere and are in a hurry then these are great for temporary wear. They look great too!
These are available from Superdrug or Elegant Touch. I've seen both of these in Superdrug just last week. I think these are worth it! They look really lovely for any special events.
Hope you liked this post guys and I would love to know your thoughts :)Have you tried Elegant Touch Nails before?Hareem x
