Mid Century Bench Makeover

I finished this a while ago and am just now getting around to sharing it. It was one of my first home decor sewing projects. Here’s what the bench essentially looked like before, with a tufted brown leather cushion.

I wanted to add the tufting back in, but that got too complicated, so it’s just a flat cushion with a foam insert and hidden zipper in the back. I re-used the existing foam and wrapped it with some additional batting.

I gave a link to the fabric here. I think it cheers the bench up a bit.
