Honda CB1000 Hornet: Forget Other Bikes, Honda is Bringing the 1000 Cc Hornet in India

The Honda CB1000 Hornet made its debut last year at the famous Milan Motorcycle Show (EICMA 2023) in Italy. It replaces one of the company's most popular superbikes, the CB1000R. At that time, there was confusion about whether this Japanese bike would come to India. But now Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has filed a design patent for the CB1000 Hornet in India. It is being speculated that the 1000 cc bike may be available in the country soon.

Honda CB1000 Hornet may be launched in India

The Honda CB1000 Hornet model has a 999 cc, liquid cooled, inline four-cylinder engine to ensure high-performance. It will produce a maximum power of 147 bhp and 100 Nm of torque. Available with six speed gearbox and slip and assist clutch.

Honda CB1000 Hornet is based on new steel twin spar frame. It uses upside down front forks and Pro-Link monoshock suspension. Both sides feature preload adjustable. Braking duties are handled by twin 310 mm front and single disc brakes at the rear. The 17-inch alloy wheels are shod with 120/70 section and 180/55 section tires at the front and rear respectively.

The Honda CB1000 Hornet features a 5-inch TFT screen, where all the important information related to riding will be displayed. It supports Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity. It also features throttle by wire, three riding modes, and traction control (Honda Selectable Torque Control). It should be noted that there is currently no word on when the bike will be launched in India.
