Mirror Illusion

This perk becomes active once generator repairs have progressed 50% of the way.
When a totem, chest, generator, or exit gate is nearby, press ability button 2 to activate a static illusion that lasts for 100, 110, or 120 seconds. The benefit then stops working.

Bardic Inspiration

Standing still and holding down the ability button 1, Survivors within 16 meters can initiate a 15-second “performance” interaction. Dice a twenty. If the entire performance is finished, this effect lasts for sixty seconds.
The ability has a 90/75/60 second cooldown when it is cancelled or the performance ends.

1 | You cry out, but nothing occurs.
2–10 | Skill checks yield +1% progress
11–19 | Skill checks yield +2% progress
20 | skill checks give +3% progress

Still Sight

This perk becomes active after 6/5/4 seconds of inactivity.
You can see every generator and chest within 18 meters, as well as the Killer’s aura until you move.

The Lich

The Book, bound with the skin and flesh of men, is full of evil and prohibited magic.

Holding down the Ability Button will reveal the Spell choices. Four distinct spells are available to the lich:

Mage Hand: Conjures up a magical hand that can block an upright pallet for four seconds or raise a pallet that has fallen.
Flight of the Damned: Conjures five phantom-like flying beings that can damage survivors and get through barriers.
Dispelling Sphere: Casting a moving, invisible sphere that reveals the Survivors and momentarily neutralizes their Magic Items.
Fly: For a brief moment, acquire the ability to soar through the air, covering large distances and navigating obstacles like pallets and vaults.

SPECIAL ITEM: MAGIC ITEMS

Magic Items can be found in Treasure Chests scattered across the map. A set of gauntlets and a pair of boots are the maximum number of magic items that a survivor can have equipped at once. Every one of these magic items is associated with a spell, which comes into play when the lich casts the spell.

The Interloper’s Boots/Gauntlets: The Survivor obtains 3 seconds of haste after noticing that pallets are impacted by Mage Hand.
Boots/Gauntlets of the Nightwatch: The Survivor is able to perceive the ghostly spirits summoned by Flight of the Damned through their auras.
Boots/Gauntlets of the Archivist: The Dispelling Sphere is visible to the Survivor.
Skyguard Boots/Gauntlets: The Survivor can perceive the aura of The Lich both during Fly and briefly thereafter.

SPECIAL ITEMS: HAND & EYE OF VECNA

Alternatively, the Hand or Eye of Vecna is occasionally found in a Treasure Chest by Survivors. Survivors who pick them up and use them while fully healed have a unique power. The Survivor loses a health status and their location is revealed for three seconds using Killer Instinct when they use one of these unique powers.

Hand of Vecna: The Survivor is sent to a different locker upon completing a Fast Locker Entry.
Eye of Vecna: The Survivor receives haste for 12 seconds and is invisible to The Lich when they perform a Fast Locker Exit.

New Killer Perks

Weave Attunement: Every item is dropped every match when it runs out of resources for the first time. Dropped items’ auras are visible to you. Auras of survivors within 8 meters of dropped goods are visible to you. A Survivor has the Oblivious state effect for 20, 25, or 30 seconds after picking up a Survivor item. Survivors cannot hear the Killer’s Terror Radius or be impacted by it if they are unaware.

Languid Touch: A Survivor will get the 6/8/10 second Exhausted status effect if they scare a crow within 36 meters of them. The duration of this bonus is 20 seconds. Survivors are unable to activate exhausting benefits when they are exhausted.

Dark Arrogance: This increases by 25% the amount of time that pallet stuns and blindings last. boosts the standard vault speed by 16/18/20%.

Killer Perk Updates

Deadlock: The block time was cut to 15/20/25 seconds. (20, 25, and 30 seconds)
Grim Embrace: 6/8/10 seconds was added to the block time before 4 tokens were reached. 8/10/12 seconds were used.
Pop Goes the Weasel: Reduced the percentage of lost progress to 20%. (was thirty percent)
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance: Reduced the amount of progress lost to 10/15/20%. (was 15/20/25%)

Survivor Perk Updates

Background Player

  • The 150% movement speed benefit has been reduced. (was 200%)
  • The Exhaustion time has been reduced to 30/25/20 seconds. 60/50/40 seconds were used.

Buckle Up

  • For 6/8/10 seconds, you and the healed survivor both gain endurance. (Deleted)
  • For 3/4/5 seconds, the healed Survivor launches into a sprint at 150% of their typical running movement speed, leaving no scratches behind. (A new feature)

Invocation: Spider Weaving

  • Shortened the Invocation’s completion time to 60 seconds. (Half a minute)
  • The duration of an Invocation to fully regress has been extended to 90 seconds. (was six seconds)

Decisive Strike

  • Reduced the stun time to four seconds. (Had been five seconds)

Toolbox

  • 15% faster sabotage rate. (was 10 percent)

Mechanic’s Toolbox

  • 25% faster sabotage is achieved. (was 10 percent)

Commodious Toolbox

  • 50% faster rate of sabotage. (A new feature)

Engineer’s Toolbox

  • Sabotage speed increased by 10%. (were Dropped by 25%)

Alex’s Toolbox

  • 18 charges now instead of 24
  • Speeds up sabotage by 100%. (was fifty percent)

Festive Toolbox

  • Speed of sabotage up by 50%. (A new feature)

Anniversary Toolbox

  • A 50% increase in sabotage speed. (A new feature)

Masquerade Toolbox

  • A 50% increase in sabotage speed. (A new feature)
Toolbox Addons

Cutting Wire

  • Accelerates sabotage speed of the Toolbox by 20%. (was 15%)

Grip Wrench

  • Respawn times for sabotaged hooks using the Toolbox are increased by twenty seconds. (was 15 seconds)

Hacksaw

  • Accelerates sabotage speed of the Toolbox by 30%. (was 20 %)

Map Updates

A Brand-New Map: Forgotten Ruins

The Decimated Borgo Realm, home of Dead by Daylight, receives a new map. A structure stands erect by itself, but beneath what is above ground is a whole new world. Vittorio Toscano was placed in a prison section for a while. The Alchemist room, where a scholar can discover the dimensions around the Entity’s cosmos or the mysteries of the planet, is located on the opposite side of the dungeon.

Decimated Borgo Realm Update

One major problem in the area of The Decimated Borgo was the red illumination. The lighting and art teams worked hard to provide each level a unique atmosphere and to increase the realm’s accessibility for all gamers.

Features

UX

  • Search tags for charms have been added. Applicable for only “Perks” and “Birds” for now.
  • A new Item Preview Window has been added. Regular and Special Items will now show a short description of their effects inside a Trial by using this feature.

Bug Fixes

Archives

  • As Survivors pass away during the match, archive challenges that require killers to finish a Trial with no more than X surviving should now update appropriately.

Sound

  • Resolved a problem that resulted in The Good Guy’s voice lines being omitted from the Mori Preview.
  • Fixed a bug that was causing the Nightmare’s Jump Rope add-on to malfunction, which raised the loudness of Survivors’ grunts.

Bots

  • Fixed the names of the Bots that show up after a player disconnects.

Characters

  • Resolved a problem that occasionally prevented The Cannibal’s tantrum animation from starting when the chainsaw was overcharged or collided with.
  • Fixed a bug that made male survivors drop nearer to the killer than female survivors when trying to break free from the killer’s hold.
  • Resolved a bug that prevented The Twin’s Baby Teeth add-on from attaching to a Survivor and causing the Blindness status effect.
  • Respawn animation for Victor was playing on Charlotte before his cooldown ended due to a bug that was fixed.
  • Resolved a problem that prevented Victor from setting off the anti-camp meter when he approached the hook.
  • A bug that was causing The Blight camera to pan down after a pallet broke during Lethal Rush has been fixed.
  • Resolved a problem that made Charles Lee Ray invisible in some situations.
  • Fixed a problem that resulted in the Cenobite’s camera resetting when he turned while utilizing his ability.
  • Solved a bug that resulted in the Survivors camera returning to its initial location after leaving a locker.
  • Resolved a bug that prevented the Plague from gaining Corrupt Purge when stunned in any way.

Maps

  • Resolved a problem that allowed the Nightmare to conceal Dream Snares beneath the floor at the summit of the Killer Basement staircase in the Ironworks of Misery map’s main building.
  • Solved a bug that allowed the Nightmare to conceal Dream Snares beneath the stairs at the summit of the Midwich Elementary map.
  • Two generators could spawn in the same room in the Underground Complex due to a bug that has been fixed.
  • Fixed a problem where a chest would appear in rooms and cut to various parts of the surroundings in the Underground Complex.
  • Resolved a bug in Lery’s Hospital that allowed players to cross the stairs leading down to the doctor’s office basement through an invisible collision.
  • Several problems with the nurse blinking out of the map of the Raccoon City Police Station have been fixed.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from traveling the Eyrie of Crows map when there was a collision close to the hill.
  • Added a fix to the Raccoon City Police Station map that prevented Victor from climbing on obstructions.
  • Fixed a bug where the Killer’s ability to navigate the Autohaven Wrecker’s Realm was obstructed by an object.

Perks

  • Repaired a bug that prevented Victor from getting noise alerts from the Call of Brine reward.
  • Resolved a bug that allowed the Premonition bonus to start working while the Killer was carrying it.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed Killers to use their strength to vault through windows, triggering the Bamboozle perk.
  • Resolved a bug that prevented the Bite the Bullet benefit from working.
  • Fixed a bug that occasionally prevented the Deliverance perk from activating.
  • Resolved a bug that occasionally prevented the Ultimate Weapon perk from triggering the Survivor point-of-view screaming animation.

Misc

  • Items that have been kill-switched ought to disappear from Bloodwebs.
  • Resolved a crash that might have happened when earning bloodpoints during a trial.
  • A crash that could happen when loading the pre-Trial lobby and the Play as Survivor lobby has been fixed.
  • Resolved a crash that might happen if a survivor lets out a cry.
  • The hooked Survivor’s camera no longer swings around erratically when you spam the unhook button.
  • Fixed a bug that resulted in the Hatch Unlock progress being reset when the interaction was canceled.
  • Resolved a problem that prevented Survivors from unhooking a partner if the hooked person had unhooked themselves right before the struggle phase.
