Apple Revealed iPad Air and iPad Mini Retina

Last night, at special press event, Apple presented its latest iPad tablets, called iPad Air and iPad Mini Retina!

New flagship among the tablets, iPad Air, is 20% thinner than the previous version. This 9.7 -inch device is 7.5 mm thick and weighs only 469 g , which, according to the manufacturer, makes it the lightest tablet on the market. iPad Air is powered by the same A7 chip as the one found in iPhone 5S . The market availability is expected to start on November 1st in many European countries.

Apple also unveiled a new version of its iPad Mini, with new implemented Retina display. This means that a 7.9 -inch screen now comes with an upgraded resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, just like the  larger Retina model.

Besides new innovative tablets, Apple also presented new Mac operating system- Mavericks, that would be completely free of charge for the computer owners running any version of OS X (released 2009) . For the first time, the Cupertino Company has debuted a major Mac OS upgrade.

New laptops were also unveiled last night : new line of MacBook Pro has been updated (both 13 and 15-inch models now have  Retina display). MacBook Pro of 13 inches is thinner and lighter and up to 90 % faster, while the 15 – inch MacBook Pro will be shipped with Intel Crystalwell 4th generation Core processor and Iris Pro integrated graphics. The battery life has also been improved, now offering up to  8 hours of use.

Apple also revealed its redesigned Mac Pro computer defined by Xeon E5 with up to 12 cores, faster memory- 1866 MHz DDR3 ECC memory,  dual AMD FirePro GPUs. Its arrival to European market is planned for the end of 2013.
