Mahindra is currently manufacturing several electric cars for Indian customers. In 2022, the company displayed their concept model. And since last year, the company started trial on the roads of the country. Among the five electric SUVs showcased by Mahindra, the Mahindra XUV.e9 was one of the highlights. The car was recently spotted charging at a Tata Motors dealership in Bhubaneswar.

Notably, the charging port of the Mahindra XUV.e9 is located on the rear left side. Earlier spy shots showed the charging port wrapped in plastic. Surrounding the charging port is a C-shaped LED tail light.

The SUV coupe Mahindra XUV.e9 also gets a clear idea about the front end design. It features vertically stacked LED headlamps, which are also present on the XUV.e8. There is a slim air dam in the front bumper for air flow to essential electrical components. Besides, flush sitting door handles and new design alloy wheels are seen on both sides.
In terms of size, the Mahindra XUV.e9 is bigger than the ICE model XUV700. Mahindra has said that their car will be launched in April 2025. It will be the second car in the Born Electric series after the XUV.e8. The Mahindra XUV.e8 will enter the Indian market by the end of 2024. Which is basically the electric version of the XUV700.
