Thanks to Obama and Congress, we already have a huge problem with Central American “migrants” illegally swarming across the U.S.-Mexico border. There have also been reports of Muslim terrorists among the illegal migrants.
Now add Syrian “refugees” to the border invaders.

Brandon Darby and Ildefonso Ortiz report for Breitbart.com, Nov. 18, 2015, that two U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents told Breitbart Texas that 8 Syrian illegal aliens attempted to enter Texas from Mexico in the Laredo Sector.
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the federal agents said eight Syrians, in two separate “family units,” were apprehended on Monday, November 16, 2015, at the border in Laredo, Texas, also known officially as Port of Entry 1.
Lending credence to the agents’ claim, local president of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) Hector Garza said that Laredo Border Patrol agents have been officially contacting the organization with concerns over reports from other federal agents about Syrians illegally entering the country in the Laredo Sector.
Garza, who is also a border patrol agent, told Breitbart Texas, “Border Patrol agents who we represent have been contacting our organization to voice concerns about reports from other agents that Syrians crossed the U.S. border from Mexico in the Laredo Sector. Our agents have heard about Syrians being apprehended in the area from other federal agents. At this time, I cannot confirm or deny that Syrians have crossed, for security reasons.”
Garza explained that in matters as sensitive as Syrians crossing the border from Mexico, it would be highly unlikely that federal agencies would publicize it or inform a broad group of law enforcement. But he said that NBPC Local 2455 is taking the reports seriously and that they “will be issuing an officer safety bulletin advising Border Patrol agents to exercise extra precautions as they patrol the border.”
Breitbart Texas can confirm that a Syrian did attempt to enter the U.S. illegally through Texas in late September. The Syrian was caught using a passport that belonged to someone else, but U.S. authorities decided against prosecuting anyone involved due to “circumstances.”
Meanwhile, POS Obama already is threatening to veto House bill H.R. 4038, aimed at strengthening Syrian refugee screening.
H.R. 4038: American SAFE Act of 2015 would “require that supplemental certifications and background investigations be completed prior to the admission of certain aliens as refugees, and for other purposes.”
The Wall Street Journal reports that House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R., Texas) and Rep. Richard Hudson (R., N.C.), introduced a bill late Tuesday, which would freeze and overhaul the process used to vet refugees. TheFBI would replace the Department of Homeland Security as the primary agency in conducting background checks to certify that any incoming refugee isn’t a national-security threat.
According to Fox News, the bill would require several top security officials to certify that each refugee is not a security threat to the U.S., before a refugee from Iraq or Syria can be admitted.
Floor action on the bill may be as early as today, Nov. 19.
Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA)
Although several high-ranking House Democrats, including Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA), said they would vote against the bill, saying its language would effectively freeze the program for years, the House is expected to easily pass the proposed bill.
The prospects in the Senate are unclear. That other POS, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky), has also called for a “pause” in admitting Syrian refugees, but he hasn’t yet said whether the Senate would take up the bill.
Yesterday, Obama threatened to veto the bill, saying it would add unnecessary hurdles to an already-rigorous screening process. A White House statement insisted that the changes called for under the bill would create “significant delays and obstacles” for the existing vetting program, and that “Given the lives at stake and the critical importance to our partners in the Middle East and Europe of American leadership in addressing the Syrian refugee crisis … [Obama] would veto the bill.”
Blah, blah, blah.
