Story: Titane starts as Alexia (Rousselle) survived a childhood accident, leading to titanium being put in her skull. 10-years-later, she is a go-go dancer for an automobile group. However, she has a much darker side when people try to take advantage of her. Along with her darker side, she also has an unusual obsession with cars.

Meanwhile, fire chef Vincent (Lindon) is searching for his son who sent missing years before. Alexia sees an opportunity to escape the world she has found herself trapped in. However, the unusual connection clashes the worlds.

Verdict on Titane

Titane is a horror sci-fi movie following a violent young woman tyring to hide from her past. Only to find shelter with a man desperately searching for his long-lost son. However, can this new life offer everything she is looking for?

So, this is a movie that you will have seen the best and worse opinions about. I have to say it is a weird movie to say the least. It does feel like we have a couple of stories going on and certain chapters tend to just end before moving onto another random series of events. This ends up being an extremely odd movie that doesn’t seem to get enough focus on what is going on.

Final ThoughtsTitane is an odd and often uncomfortable movie to watch.
