Hebe corriganii, commonly known as Hebe, is an evergreen shrub with an upright, bushy, lax habit. Hebe corriganii is native to the north island of New Zealand. In its native habitat it grows within coastal lowland scrub and forests margins. Its glossy mid green leaves are lanceolate and up to 15cm long. Its small white/ pale purple flowers appear as terminal spikes and are attractive to pollinating. Hebe corriganii is tolerant of maritime conditions. Necessary pruning should be carried out after flowering.
