How To Doctor Up Your Pillsbury Brownie Mix

By Courtyb34 @CourtyB34
Hello Everyone! Today I made up how to doctor up a plain old Pillsbury Brownie Mix. Now... Pillsbury or Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker... any brownie mix from a box is AMAZING! I will never knock those. I love those! But, I figured out to make them a little different than what the directions say on the box.
You can start off with any flavor of brownies. I used the mocha fudge Pillsbury brownie mixHow To Doctor Up Your Pillsbury Brownie MixYou make it how it says to be made on the back of the box. Directions are on the back of the box... but... I only had one egg and not quite 1/2 cup of oil. We need to go grocery shopping... ha. So, it turned out a little more fudgy than it probably should be. Not a problem. I got out the 8x8 inch glass pan, sprayed oil in it. Spread the brownie fudge batter into the pan and baked it.20 minutes into the baking, I sprinkled brown sugar on the top of it. The brown sugar baked into the brownies and gave it a little extra yummy taste. This is after I took it out of the oven.Of course, you let it cook for about 30 more minutes... and then you take it out of the oven. How To Doctor Up Your Pillsbury Brownie MixI let it cool off for a while. It also finishes baking when you take it out of the oven. I like that, but sometimes it gets so confusing. After it is all cooled off, I iced it with Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Chocolate Fudge frosting. yum!How To Doctor Up Your Pillsbury Brownie MixAfter I frosted the top, I covered the pan with tin foil and set it in the fridge for about an hour and a half. You take them out and serve them. They are gooey and delicious! I recommend cutting them into squares or rectangles before putting them in the fridge. It just makes the after part easier. How To Doctor Up Your Pillsbury Brownie MixThey were a HIT! I made these because my cousins came over to go swimming. I like making treats for when we get together. Everyone loved them and they were going FAST!I took a picture of them when there were few left. I am glad I make great tasting treats. With the thanks of Pillsbury of course. How To Doctor Up Your Pillsbury Brownie MixHow To Doctor Up Your Pillsbury Brownie MixYum!!!!These were so good.My next goal is to make my own mocha fudge brownies and my own frosting. I have a lot of blog projects on my blog projects ideas list. Can't wait to get going!Anyway, thank you Pillsbury for making a great base for my experiment. :)They tasted great!
