Derby based rockers Electric Pets channel the sound of the surf-infused Tex-Mex Spaghetti Western scores that were all the rage in the Sixties on their new single Out Of Nowhere. Bass player and composer Peter Darrignton acted as the musical director for this one. They nailed the jangling guitars and singer Emma Buckley does a fine job with a twangy country-esque lead vocal. Session trumpet player Josh Short aced his solo, completing the band's idea for outdoing the Americans on their own turf by way of Italian movie soundtracks.
