My Experience with Zilch Acne Fighting serum

How is the packaging?

This Acne fighting serum comes in a hazy heavy glass bottle with a pump packaging. The pump has a lock- unlock system making it easier to carry around without the fear of wastage.

Zilch Acne Fighting serum

How is consistency?

The serum is transparent white in color and has a gel-like consistency.

How is this Zilch Acne fighting serum?

This serum contains both niacinamide and salicylic acid.

Both the ingredients help in controlling excess sebum production. The first ingredient mentioned is Aqua which is why the serum is very lightweight and gets absorbed into the skin in seconds.

This zilch virgin start serum contains other ingredients as well that helps in controlling inflammation. I have been using this serum for about 3 weeks now and I can see that it does help in controlling breakouts to an extent.

Zilch Acne Fighting serum

It also helps in calming down my skin during hormonal breakouts on my chin but doesn’t control Acne due to periods (as claimed). I have oily skin and this zilch face serum is hydrating enough for me to be used as a moisturizer most of the time.

This is suitable for all skin types. You will require a moisturizer post this serum. Sensitive skin people can patch test this before using all over your face.

This zilch acne-fighting serum is not drying on the skin and makes the skin feel soft and smooth. It does not make the skin feel oily or sticky (right after applying or even after hours)

The only con is that the concentration of the active ingredients (niacinamide and salicylic acid) is not mentioned.

How do I use this?

A pea-size is enough for me to cover the entire face. You can use as per your requirement. I apply it on my face during the day as a moisturizer. Because this does the job for me. And at night I follow it with my magic lotion that is mentioned in my eBook. This combination works for me.

Zilch calm-aah rose hydrating face mist

Price: Rs.400 for 100 ml

Ingredients: Rose Water, Rose Essential Oil, Sodium Benzoate

The rose water comes in a good quality plastic spray bottle.

Zilch calm-aah rose hydrating face mist

How is it?

The brand says that this is a steam distilled rose water made from luxurious scented Himalayan roses.

The fragrance of this zilch rose water is like an original rose and the fragrance lingers around for a while after spraying.

I feel the fragrance is more significant because of the rose essential oil added to it.

It instantly freshens up the face and mood.

The face mist is calming and if you want you can even use this as a toner

If you’re are a beginner or you have sensitive skin then rose water can be the best toner for you.

If you want to use it as a mist then spray it in your face and let it dry.

If you want to use it as a toner then spray this rose water in your face and wipe your face with a cotton pad.

I personally don’t feel this is the purest rosewater because essential oil is added to it. Being said that fragrance is pure though.

Zilch Mild micellar makeup remover

Price: Rs. 700 for 200 ml

Availability: Amazon, Flipkart

Aqua, PEG 7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Benzyl Alcohol, Glycerine, Polysorbate 20, Sorbitol, Fragrance, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Gluconate, Cetrimonium Bromide, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloevera) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) extract

This zilch makeup remover comes in a plastic bottle.

Zilch Mild micellar makeup remover

How is the makeup remover? Does it really removes the makeup?

If I have to say it in one sentence then I LOVE IT.

I have sensitive eyes which is why most of the micellar water does not suit me when it comes to removing my eye makeup. But this one worked really well for me. It says that it’s mild micellar water but IT REMOVES EVEN MY KAJAL AND EYELINER.

It did not cause any burning sensation on my face too. Removes the makeup effectively. But I would highly suggest double cleansing after removing makeup.

It is mild yet effective.

Does not contain bad alcohol, toxins and paraben.

If you are on the go you can use it to wipe off the dirt.

Zilch makeup remover is hydrating and did not leave my skin dry or dehydrated after using it.

It is suitable for all skin types.

It removes the makeup quite easily without feeling the need for tugging or pulling it hard on the skin or eyes.

Final verdict

I loved the serum most. After that the micellar water and then the rose water from zilch. I personally loved the quality of their products. You can definitely check out their product range and pick the one that your skin needs.
