You Thought That Person On A Phone At A Theater Annoyed You

By Nottheworstnews @NotTheWorstNews

Yahoo reports that a teen who admits he was drinking recently got on stage at the Broadway play “Hand to God” to try to plug his phone charger into an onstage outlet.

3 Questions That Arise From This Story

1. Was he trying to charge a phone that had a dead battery after drunkenly talking through the performance?  We imagine such a scenario where there was a moment where the audience high-fived each other that his phone was dead, and that he would not disrupt the performance ever again.

2. Who brings a cell phone charger to a theater?  The rest of us forget to bring them when we responsibly pack our bags on vacations.

3. Did the actors not realize that the play was called “Hand To God” and that prayer is often advertised as the first hands-free, wireless communication service? Had they acted this message out, the drunken teen may have quietly sent his calls via prayer.
