On this Banawe food trip, my family and I went a little farther than usual as we were in search of a restaurant with a parking space. Now, this search led us to 238 Center, Banawe Corner Panalturan Street. Not only does this place offer ample parking space at the back of the building, but it also features a total of seven cafe and restaurants. The one that caught my attention is the restaurant that bears the name of my Chinese zodiac sign.
It's called the Little Dragon Asian Restaurant.
They are located on the ground floor near the main entrance. They have a simple and clean exterior with striking red signage. Once you enter this restaurant, you'll be greeted by a friendly face who will usher you to your seat and take your order. Now don't hesitate to ask for a recommendation because they will be happy to give you some like their eel dishes.
But my abuelita (grandmother) is not ready for that. So for this visit, we decided to get the following:
Three Cups Chicken (Php 300)
Beef Brisket in a Pot (Php 350)
Yang Chow Fried Rice (Php 260)
Normally, I would pick a favourite. In this case, I won't because we really hit the jackpot. Yes, the dishes we chose costs Php 300+ but it's worth every Peso. The Three Cups Chicken and the Beef Brisket are very flavourful, tender plus the serving ample which means that a family of 4-5 people can share this wonderful meal. For us, that is value for money.
What about dessert you ask?
Well, you get to enjoy a sweet complimentary dessert!
The question now is, will we return? Definitely! Their food AND service are great. Their restaurant is clean, well-ventilated and they also have a second floor reserved for gatherings. If you have a celebration, try dining at Little Dragon Asian Restaurant.
