As announced earlier, Xiaomi launched it’s much eagerly and much-anticipated flagship device Mi5 and Mi5 Pro at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona as well as Beijing. This flagship device will start selling from 1st March onward in China at a fraction of the cost of its rival flagship devices. Although India and other countries launch dates have not been revealed yet.

The Mi5 will be running the brand’s own MIUI 7, on top of Android M, and will get weekly software updates to bring in new features and tweaks. there’s no removable battery or microSD slot.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 comes with a 5.15-inch IPS display with a 1080p resolution and almost bezel-less front give the smartphone a classy look and runs on a Snapdragon 820 processor. The Mi5 Pro has 128GB inbuilt memory along with 4GB ram and a ceramic body while the Mi 5 has 3D glass back and 64GB inbuilt memory paired with 4GB RAM. Apart from this, both the devices are identical. In a first, Xiaomi has introduced a home button which is placed right below the screen, this also acts as a fingerprint scanner.
