World AUTOimmune/AUTOinflammatory Arthritis Day is an online awareness event in the form of a virtual car race - which plays on the "auto" in AUTOimmune and AUTOinflammatory.  It is becoming more appropriate to differentiate inflammatory arthritis in this way because research has shown that there is some level of inflammation involved in Osteoarthritis and it's also associated with gout.
