Some people know what they are doing. Akiki Fruits and Vegetables is one place I feel the need to write about and express my admiration for their fresh vegetables and fruits, individually handpicked and perfectly displayed… making you want to devour them then and there. This is not an advertisement, but the colors, the choices they offer as well as they consistency of service and quality drove me to express myself…
For the last couple of years, I’ve been hearing a lot of rumors about this famous shop selling high end products directly from their garden: Akiki’s Fruits and Vegetables. This place located on the inner Antelias road, sell a top quality vegetables and fruits.
Akiki, known to many in the area as China started selling produce in a small tent in Antelias. As a child, I would always pass by the area and see them… Established by a man who taught his sons all they need to know about the industry. I may not know all the details, but I know that the brothers have continued their dad’s legacy after he passed away, investing all their energy in this business, until the grew to having their own building, selling all kinds of fruits and vegetables from all four corners of the world. In addition to that, Akiki brothers also have freshly squeezed drinks bar serving a mix of varieties that will take you lots of effort to prepare at home. Be sure, none have added sugar.

Some say it’s a bit more expensive compared to other places, but at Akiki Brothers when you buy a kilo of something, you eat the whole kilo and not just what’s on the surface. At supermarkets, you buy whatever there is in the box of which you end up throwing an average of 10 to 20%.Every single item is checked and ready to be devoured making every penny penny spent worth it and the overall price compared to quality will be a match to all other shops around. Look at the pictures, you’ll understand.I love quality, I love professionalism, that is why I decided to write a couple of lines of my favorite vegetable and fruits shop in town.
