Motorola dominated the mid-range smartphone market in 2013 with their extremely affordable Moto G smartphone. Now the company has taken it to the next level this year with Moto E, which offers premium quality specs and fetures for just $129 USD.

“About 70% of mobile phone users in the world are still using feature phones that can’t unlock the full wonder of the mobile Internet, in many cases because they don’t think it’s worth the $337 for a smartphone,” Motorola wrote on a blog post. “We believe it’s time the feature phone era came to an end and that quality smartphones are made accessible and affordable for all.”

Moto E comes packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz dual-core A7 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 5MP camera on the back, 4.3-inch 540 x 960 qHD display, 4GB internal storage with microSD slot and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The device is also water-resistant and comes with Gorilla Glass protection to save the screen from scratches.
