Wild Ones Provide an Upbeat Air with ‘Show Me Islands’ [Stream]

Wild Ones have had a busy year thus far — their debut album, Keep It Safe, full of charming electro pop songs, dropped in April, and now they have “Show Me Islands”, the lead single of their new EP Heatwave out on August 14. The track features vocalist Danielle Sullivan’s super airy voice that blissfully arches over her backing band of cool looking dudes providing trendy electro lines. As Sullivan sings, “What you wanna wait for?” in the chorus, you can’t help but think, ‘I can’t wait to be somewhere outside where I can dance to this.’ Not quite as powerful as Sylvan Esso, more of a very upbeat, demure Tennis, Wild Ones are the perfect addition if your summer playlists is lacking midday cocktails in the park songs.
