By Petslady @petslady

Ya know, with a name like "sea squirt" you would think that these things would be smaller.  This video, uploaded by EaglehawkDive on September 17, 2011, shows just how big these strange creatures can get:

According to Wikipedia, sea squirts are "marine filter feeders with a saclike morphology. In their respiration and feeding they take in water through an incurrent (or inhalant) siphon and expel the filtered water through an excurrent (or exhalant) siphon."  To me they look like the water tentacle from James Cameron's great film, The Abyss:

Have you ever seen a sea squirt?  If so, let us know!
