WH Spokesman, Obama's Kids Shouldn't Be Used In Political Fight, But OK For Obama To Kids As Political Props?

The thin-skinned president's mouthpiece, Jay Carney, responds to the NRA's new ads against Obama which point out that his children have armed guards, but ours have gun free zones. The NRA spot also points out that Obama is an "elitist" and "hypocrite."
In the official White House response, ironically, Carney states "Most Americans agree that a president's children should not be used as pawns in a political fight."
He says this with a straight face as Barack Obama uses other people's children as poliitical props in his gun control press conference as he is surrounded by children, for his "political fight".
So, it is alright for Obama to use other people's children in a political fight but "repugnant and cowardly" for the NRA to point out that Obama's kids have armed guards but not our nation's school children?
Do these people even think before they speak?
