Westwood hills - map1aOne of the benefits of living in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area is the abundance of nature at our doorsteps, wherever you might be in the metro area. The Westwood Hills neighborhood in the first ring suburb of St. Louis Park is a neighborhood dominated by rolling hills and big homes, with nearly 40% of its area parks and open space. It is the highest point in St. Louis Park, and home of the Minneapolis Golf Club and Westwood Hills Nature Center.

You may have seen Westwood Lake as you whizzed past on I-394 on your way to and from Ridgedale shopping center without ever realizing it is part of Westwood Hills Nature Center, a 160-acre natural area which is home to wildlife and year-round programs. Trails are open year round, including a 1.54 mile trail around the lake. Bikes and dogs are not allowed in the park.
