Want to Be a Millionaire? America is Still the Best in World

By Eowyn @DrEowyn

The sun may be setting on the formerly great United States of America.

But despite the Obama regime’s “wealth redistribution” and daily chiseling away of our liberties (see our “Police State/NWO” page), America is still Number One when it comes to how quickly it takes for the average working person to become a millionaire.

The UK’s prestigious The Economist took a look at how long it would take for an average person to earn a million dollars, by looking at how much the main breadwinner in an average household makes each year (before tax).

On this measure, America creates the swiftest millionaires, and also the most (around 5m households, or 4% of the total). In contrast, south of the border, Mexicans can expect to toil for three centuries to earn the same.

Although $1 million isn’t what it used to be, it’s still a considerable sum of money. Stacked up and denominated in $100 notes, a million dollars would reach over 3¼ ft. high and weigh 22 lbs.

Here’s a chart showing how long it’ll take for an average wage-earner to earn $1 million in 20 countries:
