Video: Speedflying Along a Rocky New Zealand Mountain

Posted on the 24 February 2020 by Kungfujedi @Kungfujedi

Just when you thought that only the wingsuit pilots were crazy enough to make proximity flying a thing, along comes this video that forces us to throw speed flyers into the mix too. In this clip, Angus Sellen heads down a rocky cliff face in New Zealand, giving us an up close look at how fast he is moving as he goes. Speedflying has always looked like it was a safer alternative to the wingsuit madness, but this video has forced me to reassess that thought. If you're in a need of an adrenaline boost, this will probably provide what you're looking for.
