Video: Sherpas - The Unsung Heroes of Everest

Posted on the 18 March 2016 by Kungfujedi @Kungfujedi
This video comes our way courtesy of the Nat Geo Live series. It takes us to the Himalaya in Nepal to give us a look at the men and women who make up the ethnic group known as the Sherpa. Made most famous for their work on Everest and other high mountains, the Sherpa are a strong, hardy, and kinds people who share a reverence and love of the mountains that they call home. The video has been around for awhile, but considering the fact that we're about to start a new climbing season soon I thought it was fitting to share it again.
