Video of the Year JUNO: Help Me Choose the Winner [VIDEO]

Posted on the 10 February 2015 by Jennifervillamere
Yeah, it's people like me who get to vote to determine who will win the JUNOS.
Wanna help?
In this category, the JUNO is awarded to the video director and the recording artist. The director has to be Canadian. A co-director can win, too, as long as they're Canadian or working with a Canadian director.
Here are the nominees for Video of the Year. Check 'em out then take the poll to let me know who you'd choose.

The director is cinematographer and video editor Dane Collison, who’s based in Van and does a lot of skateboarding videos. SonReal’s a new school rapper who releases album-y mixtapes. His first single, Everywhere We Go, won the MMVA Video of the Year award last year.
The director is Grandson and Son, which is actually, like, just one dude. He directs and edits an asstonne of high-profile music vids for folks like Emmnauel Jal ft. Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Art Department X Seth Troxler, Steve Aoki, and Mansions on the Moon. Zeds Dead is a Toronto dubstep duo made up of Dylan Mamid (call him “DC”) and Zach Rapp-Rovan (“Hooks”).

Directors Jeremy Schaulin-Rioux and Chandler Levack are from Vancouver and Toronto, respectively. They do a lot of punk vids for bands like DZ Deathrays and Slaves. PUP is a Toronto punk band that was long-listed for the Polaris Music Prize last year.

This sucker was shot in one take by directors Kiesza, Blayre Ellestad, Rami Afuni and Ljuba Castot. It went viral and has, like, about 200 million views.
Award-winning director Natalie Rae Robison is a Van woman working in Toronto. Kandle is awesome, used to be in The Blue Violets, and her dad is the lead guy in 54-40.
